This tea is Summer in a cup. But even before it’s in your cup, the fragrance of the perfectly rolled tea pearls is simply otherworldly; so heady it’s a whole experience in itself. As I smell and taste it, I think of my days walking around NYC in 90* heat dreaming of cooling off in a river or lake… as well as porch and poolside summers back in my Tennessee hometown. Emerald Isle exudes all the things I love about the warmer months; floral scented breezes, bright and sunny mornings, shaded afternoons, and nostalgic nods to classic summer scenes like F. Scott and Zelda on their Alabama porch or swimming holes hidden among lush green brush and bramble.

From Living Tea: This imperial grade Jasmine Green tea was plucked and processed in Autumn 2022. Masterfully produced, the procedure requires mixing fresh jasmine flower blossoms with semiprocessed tea leaves (Zao Pei) numerous times over the course of weeks. Each batch can requires up to ten pounds of fresh flowers for every one pound of leaf. The result is a smooth, sweet, soft and invigorating green tea that captures the very essence of the Jasmine Flower. The scent is intoxicating, held within the tightly rolled tea buds where minimal surface area ensures that the scent and flavor will unfurl over multiple steepings.

We suggest brewing relatively short initial steepings up to 1-2 minutes with infusions at 170-180 F.
