Sojourn Yellow Rose Rock Oolong Tea

$28.00

I bought Sojourn right before I moved from Tennessee to Northern California and, oh my, it was a perfect tea to welcome me to a region with such similar fragrances. Sojourn smells and tastes like campfire, oatstraw, and cedar (as says Living Tea). My ideal scenario is to drink this tea on a large smooth rock after swimming in the Yuba river. This is an excellent tea when craving the essence of the mountains, forests, and rivers of the west.

2 oz

From LivingTea.com: Wuyi teas capture the ideal growing conditions of the region, surrounded by massive granite cliffs, rivers, and waterfalls. Masterfully hand-processed in the century-old traditional method, the ancient processing brings out the true spirit of Wuyi Mountain, an area with the perfect terroir for this special tea. Sojourn goes through four rounds of roasting with alternating indoor and outdoor drying. The flavor is smooth, rich, sweet, and maintains a pleasant hui gan, or cooling sensation in the aftertaste. With a slight astringency and great patience, this unusual tea offers a complex experience that is perfect for a warm summer afternoon.
